Here are the top 5 reasons I won’t be replaced by AI or Robots any time soon.

When I started Brightworks in 2005 the Palm Treo wasn’t even invented, and we built websites using Flash*! Fast forward to the eve of 2019 and it’s all A.I. and robots. But I am not worried, here are the top 5 reasons why I am not going to be replaced by either any time soon:

1 – A.I. can’t finish a presentation in the back of an Uber on the way to a pitch, heck A.I. can’t even do up a seatbelt.

2 – Robots can’t handle the flight delays at LaGuaradia, even with the new Air Canada terminal finally opened up, they simply don’t have the patience.

3 – Even the most advanced A.I. can’t figure out half of the client briefs / creative feedback that agencies receive, beating a chess Grandmaster is easier than understanding what “it needs to speak to millennials” means.

4 – Robots are efficient and get stuff done on time, which means they can’t procrastinate until anxiety turns to inspiration, which is called “the creative process”.

5 – A.I. excels at logic, which is exactly why A.I. could never negotiate with Procurement.

So, for the meantime, bring it on robots.
