The Gist, Co-Founded by Innovation Day 2019 Speaker Jacie deHoop is featured in Forbes!

Like it is with so many events, we’ve had to put Innovation Day on “pause”. Our last in-person installment was in late 2019, but we still keep in touch with many of the past speakers. I recently caught up over Zoom with Dan Lerner (iD 2017) to check in on teaching at NYU during the pandemic, chatted with David Sax (iD 2019) when I stumbled upon his Toronto Life article about winter surfing on Lake Ontario, and had a long-overdue call with Nick Parish (iD Keynote 2013, 14, 15, 17) about leaving Contagious and working for the “Corporate Culture Consultancy” NOBL.IO. I have also had the chance to connect regularly with Jacie deHoop, Co-Founder of the Gist (iD 2019). The Gist has been successfully navigating the pandemic, has recently surpassed 150,000 subscribers and was recently written up in Forbes.
