THE ASK
- Develop an app that would support ABSORICA patients with severe nodular acne through their treatment journey, and encourage adherence to their prescribed regimen.
THE APPROACH
- Create an approachable app with a smooth and easy-to-use interface that would appeal to a younger demographic (15-20 years)
- Provide tailored content with tips and reminders for each stage of the journey to help patients maintain a positive perspective
- Include tools that would remind the patient when they should take their next dose, and the date and time of their next appointment
- Above all, provide photo-tracking functionality to allow the patient to monitor their progress each day and compare to when they started
THE RESULTS
- It’s still early and we’re eagerly awaiting results and reviews, but Sun Pharmaceuticals has received tremendous feedback from their customers on the usefulness of the app, and HCPs have been proactively asking for details on how their patients can download the app.
